Can I visualize the trackers on a map?

  • Can I use the Onomondo platform to visualize the real-time location of our IoT trackers?

Answer

Onomondo does not offer a built-in feature for real-time tracker mapping.

  • Use your device’s geolocation data with a third-party mapping tool.

  • Onomondo enables data transmission between your device and server.

  • You can access the last known approximate cell tower location via:

  1. Onomondo app

  2. Onomondo API

  3. Webhooks

Note: Cell tower location is approximate and should be treated as a reference, not as precise geolocation.

Cause

Onomondo focuses on connectivity, not location tracking. GPS data must come from the device and be mapped externally.
