My device is connecting on 4G, but I want it to use 2G only.

Environment

  • Device: applicable to all

  • SIM type: applicable to all

  • Onomondo app:

    • Individual SIM page

      • Device information

Issue

  • My device is connecting on 4G, but I want it to use 2G only.

Solution

  1. Go to SIMs tab.

  2. Search for SIM ID and click on "Go to SIM".

  3. Click on "Edit".

  4. Scroll down to "Device information".

  5. Disable 4G.

  6. Click "Save".

Workaround:

  • Set network preferences on the device using AT commands.

  • Refer to device manufacturer's documentation for instructions.
