Why was I charged a Tech Fee for more SIMs than those that transferred data on my Pro account?

Tech Fee is based on the number of SIMs activated in the month, not the number that transferred data.

Answer

The Tech Fee on Pro accounts is calculated based on how many SIMs were activated during the billing period; not how many transferred data.

Even if a SIM was only active for a single day, it still counts toward the monthly Tech Fee. The charge reflects all SIMs that were active at any point during the month.

Cause

The billing model for Pro accounts is usage-based by activation, not traffic. This ensures consistency in monthly billing while accounting for all active resources, regardless of data transfer.
