How to bulk add SIMs to a Tag from the platform

  1. Navigate to the SIM tab where you can filter your SIMs using either the 'Search for SIMs' field or the available filtering options.

Using the search filed, you can search for SIMs using:

    • SIM IDs

    • ICCIDs

    • Labels

    • IPV4

    • MSISDN

    • IMEI

  2. Or you can Filter SIMs by:

    • Existing Tags

    • Network List

    • Connector

    • Activation Status (Online/Offline or Activated/Deactivated)

    • Type (Physical or SoftSIM)

  3. After pulling a list of the desired SIMs, select them all by checking the box located in the top-left corner of the table. Next, click the 'Add tags to selected SIMs' icon, that appears above.

  4. You now have the option to add a Tag to the selected SIMs displayed on the current page. Note that there is a maximum limit of 20 SIMs per page.

Alternatively, if you want to add Tag/s to all SIMs matching your search/filter criteria, simply click the link labeled 'Select all SIM cards that match this search' in the pop-up window. Once clicked, the text will change to the total number SIMs that match the specified criteria.

Here is an example where the total number of SIMs are 50 units:

  5. Search for the relevant Tag(s) that you want to add to these SIMs and then click 'Save'. After completing the tagging process, your new Tag will be added to the SIMs and displayed accordingly in the table. While you can associate as many Tags as desired with a single SIM, only up to three Tags will be visible in the table. If more Tags are added, a counter will appear next to the last tag, indicating the total number of tags associated with the SIM.

How to bulk SIMS to a Tag using the API

You can also add/remove or edit the list of tags assigned to a SIM using the API. You can find the necessary information in our API documentation:

Displaying Usage based on Tags

Once a Tag is assigned to SIMs, it will also link to the usage generated by the SIMs during that period. You can view this data in either the Dashboard or Usage tabs by selecting the specific Tags from the dropdown menu.

Important: Usage data generated by a SIM with a Tag is directly linked to that Tag. Therefore, adding a Tag to an already activated SIM will not include any previous usage records before the Tag was attached to the SIM.

Additionally, removing a Tag from a SIM will not remove the Tag from the usage records generated while the SIM was associated with the Tag.
