- What IPs are the outgoing data from SIMs?The most up to date IP ranges for SIMs can be found on the Onomondo Documentation page.
- How long are data sessions kept open on the Onomondo network?Onomondo keeps sessions open for 48 hours. The operator, however, can set a different timeout.
- How is Onomondo's DNS IP retrieved by the module?The Packet Data Network Gateway (PGW) assigns DNS server IPs during tunnel creation and sends them to your device via signaling messages.
- Does Onomondo support VoLTE?No, Onomondo does not support VoLTE.
- Does the SIM card / network blacklist some IPs?No, Onomondo SIM cards and network don't blacklist specific IPs.
- Does Onomondo network support Mobile Terminated (MT) traffic?In a sense - yes. However, there are some NAT timeout restrictions to consider.
- Does Onomondo support 5G?Onomondo supports 5G NSA, but not standalone 5G.
- Does Onomondo have a PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol) server configured?No. We don't have a PPP server configured.
- Do Onomondo SIMs support Non-IP-Data-Delivery (NIDD)?No, NNID is not supported.
- Can I make a call using Onomondo SIMs?Our IoT SIMs do not having cellular calling functionality, but you can use VoIP services to make calls over the Internet.
- Which frequency bands are supported by the network?This varies from operator to operator. Check operator's website to retrieve specific information on supported bands.
